SHIMA, Fukuoka Pref. – Fiji’s Dinesh Chand birdied four straight from No. 12 en route to a 4-under-par 68 Friday, claiming a share of the lead with Soshi Tajima at 10-under 134 after the second round of the Hisamitsu-KBC Augusta Golf Tournament.
Chand, who debuted on the Japanese circuit in 1998, started on the back half along with Tajima and sank a total of six birdies against two birdies at Keya Golf Club while overnight leader Tajima carded four birdies and two bogeys for a 2-under 70.
