India's Jyoti Randhawa, last year's Asian PGA Tour money winner, fired a bogey-free 8-under-par 63 for a one-stroke lead after the first round of the 100 million yen JCB Classic Sendai tournament on Thursday.

Teeing off on the back nine of the Omotezao Kokusai Golf Club, the 31-year-old put together four birdies and added as many after making the turn.

Katsuyoshi Tomori birdied six of his first nine holes over the par-71, 6,625-yard course en route to a 64 to stand alone in second place.

OKAZAKI, Aichi Pref. (Kyodo) South Korean Lee Ji Hee shot a 2-under par 70 on Friday to take a one-stroke lead with two others after the first round of the Resort Trust Ladies golf tournament in Aichi Prefecture.

Teeing off for the first round on the Tradition Golf Club's 6,504-yard course, Lee carded a birdie and a bogey before making the turn.
