Riko Higashio and Mikiyo Nishizuka set the early pace in the season-opening Daikin Orchid Ladies on 4-under-par 68 after the first round on Friday.
Higashio shot six birdies against two bogeys to move to the top of the leaderboard alongside Nishizuka, who carded two birdies in both the inward and outward nines in her flawless round at Ryuku Golf Club in Okinawa Prefecture.
