Japan midfielder Shinji Ono converted a penalty and created the second goal as Feyenoord notched its third straight league win by overcoming FC Zwolle 2-0 at home in the Dutch first division Sunday.

Ono put the UEFA Cup winner on the road to victory on 65 minutes when he stepped up to slot home the spot kick for his second goal in as many games after Tomasz Raza had been brought down in the area by Remco Schol.

Three minutes later, Ono turned architect for the second, sending a deep cross from the right for substitute Mariano Bombarda to head home from five yards out.

"It's my job to take the penalties so I have to say I'm more pleased with the assist," Ono said.
