Thank you for publishing Setsuko Kamiya's Nov. 19 article, "Demons still haunt Christian soldier," which reveals the human suffering caused by war. I was in Japan as a missionary from 1949 and had the privilege of knowing a few of the courageous Japanese who tried to remain true to their Christian faith during the war. I hope The Japan Times will seek out others and tell their stories before they are dead and gone.
