Regarding the Dec. 4 article "LDP may ease costs of elderly health care": The Liberal Democratic Party MUST ease the costs of elderly care. We elderly people contributed to health insurance for many years during our working period before getting to be "elderly citizens." Most of us have not used much health care. Now that we need more care because of our advanced age, we have to pay more than regular people to be taken care of. That seems unfair, unwise, even cruel. Most of the politicians making the laws are much more well to do than regular elderly citizens. They don't worry about paying for expensive treatment, because they have money and privileges. They should worry more about the "elderly vote."
