LONDON – Britons have steeled themselves for President Vladimir Putin’s reaction after Prime Minister Theresa May threw out 23 Russian diplomats in retaliation for the poisoning of a former spy and his daughter on U.K. soil.
Russia is likely to, at the very least, expel a similar number of British diplomats. A statement from the country’s Foreign Ministry suggested it would go further.
