Police have arrested former actor Noboru Takachi, the husband of actress Reiko Takashima, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and marijuana, they said.
Takachi, 51, whose real name is Joji Osaki, was arrested Friday at a "love hotel," a facility for amorous encounters, in Yokohama. He was there with Atsuko Isokawa, 33, an acquaintance and bar hostess, authorities said.
Police said they confiscated 4 grams of stimulants and 2 grams of marijuana. The two reportedly admitted to investigators that the drugs were for their own use.
