The body of a 29-year-old Japanese tourist has been found on the island of Skye in Scotland, but foul play is not suspected, local police said Wednesday.
The Japanese Consulate General in Edinburgh said the body was found on Tuesday near a hiking route in mountains in the north of the island. It has yet to make the name of the man available.
He went missing after leaving his accommodation in Portree in the central part of the island on Saturday, the consulate said, adding his family is expected to arrive in the area soon.
