Japanese pop singer and fashion model Kyary Pamyu Pamyu on Friday visited the Japan Pavilion at the Expo Milano, a food-themed international fair, and had a look at high-tech presentations of the country’s nature and culinary culture.

After a tour guided by Tatsuya Kato, the government’s commissioner general for the expo, she said, “I’d heard it’s amazing, and it was easy to understand and fun.”

One of the dozens of “Japan Pavilion Supporters” appointed by the agriculture and trade ministries, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu was to give a special live performance as part of the Japan Day event at the expo on Saturday.
