A diamond ring worth around ¥35 million was stolen from a store in Tokyo's upscale Ginza shopping district last year, Tokyo police said Wednesday.

Two Asian men in their 30s to 40s who appeared not to be Japanese tried on four rings at the jewelry shop Wako Co.'s main building on Dec. 24, speaking a smattering of Japanese and English. After they left, a clerk noticed that one ring, with a 4.26-carat diamond, was missing, according to the investigation.

The two are still at large.

The shop is located at the main Ginza crossing and is known for its turret clock and fancy show window.
