The Japan Tourism Agency and the Cultural Affairs Agency agreed Wednesday to increase coordination abroad in promoting traditional Japanese culture and food in the run-up to the 2020 Olympic Games.
Speaking at a signing ceremony in Tokyo, Cultural Affairs Commissioner Masanori Aoyagi expressed his determination to “run tourism and cultural administration so as to make the 2020 Games an Olympics of culture.”
