The prime minister “did not prolong political confusion,” Keidanren Chairman Hiromasa Yonekura said Wednesday.
Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Tadashi Okamura also welcomed Noda’s decision, saying, “I would like to commend him for his courage.”
