Internet services firm Livesense Inc. debuted on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Mothers market for startups on Dec. 7, with Taichi Murakami making history as the youngest head of a newly listed Japanese company at the age of 25 years and 1 month.

The youngest of three children of a salaried worker, Murakami said he started thinking about becoming a company president when he was in primary school.

"I got a sense of joy when I served as a class representative and could help people around me," Murakami said in an interview. "I grew up thinking I would be able to influence many people through the job of president."
