Transport minister Seiji Maehara will visit the United States from Monday to July 1 to promote shinkansen technology, his ministry said.
Maehara will speak at a seminar in Chicago on June 28 to be jointly held by the transport and Foreign ministries and other organizations to promote the better points of shinkansen technology to local officials and businesses, the ministry said.
