Tokyo police have arrested 20 people and sent papers to prosecutors on seven others for allegedly posting child pornography on an Internet Web site opened by a high school student for access via mobile phones, police officials said Thursday.
It is one of the biggest child pornography crackdowns over a single Web site, according to the Metropolitan Police Department, amid enhanced national efforts against child pornography, as Japan has come under criticism as a global supplier of online child pornography.
