SAITAMA (Kyodo) Three Japanese men falsely registered their companions — Filipino male-to-female transsexuals — as their wives, police have revealed, adding all had been charged and two so far have been convicted.
The Japanese men, from Saitama and Gunma prefectures, obtained marriage documents through marrying Philippine women and used the documents for alien registration of the transsexuals with the city halls of Ota, Gunma Prefecture, and Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, from 2007 to 2008, the police said Tuesday, without identifying those involved.
The six met through a transsexual pub where the three Filipinos were working.
