NAHA, Okinawa Pref. (Kyodo) Okinawa Gov. Hirokazu Nakaima said Saturday that relocating U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Futenma within the prefecture is a practical option.

Nakaima told land minister Seiji Maehara, also state minister in charge of Okinawa, that moving the facility out of the prefecture is the “best” scenario but “is not easy from a practical viewpoint.”
