Temporary staffing companies are entering new business fields, including agriculture, nursing care and parental care support, in addition to their main line of business.

In Tokyo's Otemachi business district in late May, an agricultural corporation manager enthusiastically told about 40 people attending a presentation, "It's a world in which cattle are prettier than humans."

Pasona Group Inc., a temp staffing agency, opened an agriculture business school, called Noen Tai, or Agri-MBA, two years ago for those wishing to engage in farming.
