A check-in system computer glitch scrubbed 31 domestic Japan Airlines flights departing from Tokyo’s Haneda airport Wednesday morning, JAL officials said.
Morning flights scheduled up to 8:15 a.m. were canceled, affecting about 3,600 passengers. JAL eventually solved the problem by using a backup system.
The affected passengers were booked on later flights or on flights with other airlines. Further disruption is expected on the return flights.
