NAGOYA (Kyodo) A police officer shot and killed a large dog that was attacking a man in a field in Aichi Prefecture, police said Sunday.
The dog was a 3-year-old male Tosa measuring about 125 cm in length and 74 cm in height, and trained to be a fighting dog. It was attacking a man who was walking his dog in the field in Inazawa around 9:40 p.m. Saturday.
