The second batch of the last troops that were in Iraq arrived Sunday at Haneda airport in Tokyo aboard a chartered private aircraft.
The return of some 140 Ground Self-Defense Force personnel followed the first batch of about 170 troops that returned Thursday.
The remaining members of the roughly 600-member contingent will follow soon, the GSDF said.
