BEIJING (Kyodo) Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will meet with trade minister Toshihiro Nikai during his visit to Beijing starting Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said, confirming the first high-level bilateral dialogue between the Asian neighbors in months.
Nikai will also meet with Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan during his three-day stay, the spokesman said at a regular news conference.
He indicated that talks between Chinese President Hu Jintao and Nikai will not take place.
