NAGOYA (Kyodo) Two men attacked a pachinko parlor employee Monday morning in Nagoya and made off with some 10 million yen in weekend earnings, police said.

The men attacked the 36-year-old employee in the parlor's third-floor parking lot at around 9:40 a.m. The employee sustained minor facial wounds as he scuffled with the robbers, who also took his wallet, police said.

The employee was on his way to a bank to deposit the money, police said, adding it was customary for the parlor to deposit its weekend earnings on Monday mornings.
