MITO, Ibaraki Pref. – Two men stole about 12 million yen Monday from a female employee of a construction firm in Tokai, Ibaraki Prefecture, as she was transferring salary payments, police said.
According to police, the pair made off with a paper bag containing the money immediately after attacking the woman at around 12:55 p.m. as she got out of her car in the firm’s parking lot.
