Online brokerage house Matsui Securities Co. and Chuo Mitsui Trust & Banking Co. said Thursday they have agreed to tie up in the inheritance and testament-related business.
Matsui Securities will introduce the contents of Chuo Mitsui's inheritance and testament services on its own Web site in mid-February.
It will refer customer requests to Chuo Mitsui for such services as face-to-face consultations on how to leave a will or proceed with inheritance.
The tieup will link Matsui Securities' online business and Chuo Mitsui's consulting business to create a new service for individual investors, they said.
The brokerage house, already dealing in some inheritance-related services, hopes to expand the services, while the trust bank hopes to expand its customer base.
