The English-language version of Japan's most popular manga comic magazine will hit the stands in the United States on Nov. 26, its publisher said Monday.

The American version of Shonen Jump will feature the most famous comics from the original Japanese edition, including "Dragon Ball" and "Yu-Gi-Oh," San Francisco-based Viz Communications Inc. said.

It plans to launch 250,000 copies of the first edition and hopes monthly circulation will reach 1 million in three years.

The first edition will be 288 pages and sell for $4.95. Yearly subscriptions will be $19.95.

The English version of Shonen Jump is printed in the right-to-left Japanese-reading format to preserve the original artwork, it said.

It will be produced in cooperation with the original artists, editors and its Japanese publisher, Shueisha Inc.
