Now that selling pressure has visibly eased, Tokyo share prices have firmed back to levels before the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.
The 225-issue Nikkei average reclaimed the 11,000 level briefly Friday and the 25-day advance-decline ratio rose to 129 percent on the technical chart.
