NAGOYA – Toyota Motor Corp. said Monday it would halt manufacturing operations from Monday evening through early this morning due to the approach of a powerful typhoon in the Tokai region in central Japan.
The decision will affect the production of some 6,000 motor vehicles, the nation’s biggest automaker said.
