Final preparations for today’s launch of an H-IIA rocket were made Tuesday on Tanegashima, a Kagoshima Prefecture island, the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) said.

The launch at Tanegashima Space Center was originally set for Saturday, but was postponed after the discovery of a defective engine valve.
