The U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday rejected allegations that unfairly cheap imports of blast furnace coke from Japan and China are damaging the U.S. industry.
With the ruling, the ITC has ended its investigation into the case and products from Japan and China will not be subject to antidumping duties.
The domestic blast furnace industry had alleged that the imports are sold in the U.S. at less than fair prices.
