Honda Motor Co. has produced more than 10 million four-wheel vehicles in North America since launching local production on the continent in 1982, the company said Monday.
Honda, the first Japanese automaker to top the 10-million mark in North America, said the 10 millionth car rolled out on April 10.
Toyota Motor Corp. says it is likely to reach the 10 million figure later this year.
