Okinawa Gov. Keiichi Inamine said Monday he will thoroughly discuss the issue of a 15-year limit on the U.S. military’s use of a planned airport in Nago when he meets with Okinawa Development Agency chief Ryutaro Hashimoto on Dec. 25.

Inamine told reporters he plans to ask Hashimoto to break the deadlock on the issue involving the relocation of the U.S. Marine Corps’ Futenma Air Station as early as possible.
