DDI Pocket Inc. and Fujitsu Ltd. announced Monday that they will release personal computers with built-in devices that allow wireless transmission of communications data.

Two models in the new FMV-Biblo Look series, to be released in early November, make use of DDI Pocket's personal handy-phone system, which can transmit data through the Internet, indoors or outdoors.

The Look S, weighing only 980 grams and measuring 243 mm x 151 mm, is equipped with a battery that runs up to 8 hours, a 1,024 x 512 pixel display and Transmeta's Crusoe central processing unit.

The advanced Look T is equipped with a built-in DVD player and a 1,280 x 600 pixels display.

The retail prices for Look S and T will be around 160,000 yen and 210,000 yen.
