Now that staying indoors and practicing social distancing is a matter of public safety due to the current coronavirus pandemic, it’s important to find ways to keep fit and stay relaxed at home. Public events are adjusting to the situation by moving their activities online, and Organic Life Tokyo, a yoga event that is usually held at Tokyo’s 3331 Arts Chiyoda center, is no different.
Last spring, around 30,000 yoga practitioners participated in the three-day event, which is aimed at promoting wellness through yoga lessons, motivational talks and ethically made products.
This year, it will take place entirely online from April 17 to 19. More than 100 yoga instructors will stream their lessons, which yogis all around the world will be able to access. A number of classes will be available in English. So, get your stretch on and make your home a sanctuary in which you can find inner peace. (Yuki Yamauchi)
