Gunma: Takasaki Daruma Ichi

First fair of Daruma. Open-air stalls sell daruma, foods and drinks and various performances, including Japanese dance, taiko dumming and shamisen, are held during the festival
Another daruma fair is also held at Shorinzan Daruma-ji Temple in the city on Jan. 6-Jan. 7.

● daily 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Open-air stalls are set up along Ekimae-dori Street
● Jan. 1 12:55 p.m.-1:25 p.m. Shamisen
1:40 p.m.-2 p.m. Taiko
● Jan. 2 10 a.m.-10:20 a.m. & 11:20 a.m.-11:40 a.m. Taiko
10:35 a.m.-11:05 a.m. Shamisen
