Festival with a 300-year history, designated as one of the National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties, and registered as the Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
14 beautifully sculptured floats with huge dolls on tops parade through the city to the accompaniment of Sawara-bayashi (festival music).
