Tokyo: Sumomo Matsuri

Sumomo (plum) Festival. About 120 stalls selling plums are set up in the shrine precincts. Crow-pattern Uchiwa fans are sold in front of Haiden hall. (It is said that a crow drove away evil in the past.)

6 a.m.-9 p.m. Uchiwa-fans are sold
7 a.m.-9 p.m. Plums are sold
3 p.m.-, from 5 p.m.: & from 7 p.m.: Satokagura(Shinto dance with music)
performance at Kaguraden Hall

Location: Okunitama-jinja Shrine, Fuchu, Tokyo

(1) Keio Line to Fuchu Sta. (South Exit), and then walk 5 min. (2) JR Nambu or Musashino Line to Fuchu-Hommachi Sta., and then walk 5 min.
