Kanagawa: Kamakura Matsuri

Spring Festival to cerebrate the beginning of sightseeing season in Kamakura since 1959. If it heavily rains, events will be canceled.

Schedule & Key events:
● April 14  
from 10 a.m.: Parade of mikoshi, float and people in traditional attire on
Wakamiya-oji Street
from 2:30 p.m.: Shizuka-no-mai (Japanese dance) on the Mai-den stage of
the shrine
● April 20
 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nodate in the shrine precincts
● April 21  
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nodate in the precincts of the temple
 from 1 p.m.: Yabusame in the shrine precincts

Location: Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine, Kotoku-in Temple and others, Kamakura, Kanagawa

Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine: JR Yokosuka Line to Kamakura Sta. (East Exit), and then walk 10 min. Kotoku-in Temple: Enoshima Dentetsu (Enoden) Line to Hase Sta., and then walk 7 min.
