Shizuoka: Atami Baien Ume Matsuri

Japanese Apricot Festival. There are about 470 Japanese apricot trees of 60 species in the garden and they begin to bloom usually from the middle of January. Various entertainments are scheduled during the festival period. Admission is 300JPY.

Location: Atami Baien Garden, Atami, Shizuoka


Access:
(1) JR Ito Line to Kinomiya Sta., and then walk 10 min. (2) JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line to Atami Sta. From there, take bus (for Ainohara-Danchi or Baien) to Baien Bus Stop (15 min.)
