Nara: Asuka-no-Onda Matsuri

Rice field work pantomime to pray for a rich harvest of this year. Masked men pantomime a process of rice farming in the shrine precincts.

Access:
(1) JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line to Kyoto Sta. From there, take Kintetsu Kashihara Line to Kashihara Jingu-mae Sta. From there, take bus to Asuka Daibutsu-mae Bus Stop, and then walk 5 min. (2) JR Nara Line to Nara Sta. From there, take Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Sta., and change to Kintetsu Kashihara Line to Kashihara Jingu-mae Sta. From there, take bus to Asuka Daibutsu-mae Bus Stop, and then walk 5 min.
