Two upcoming productions in the Tokyo area reflect this trend in dance.

She was a 27-year-old named Emily who'd seen the show 199 times in the past two years without ever being the least bit bored.

First performed in Italy in 1904, the opera is one of the most popular in the world and was reportedly performed more than 2,640 times in the 2015-16 season.
