This is the fourth edition of the annual “Face” public-competition exhibition series held by the Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Museum of Art.
This year, out of 857 entrees, works by 71, including nine award winners, have been selected to be displayed. The “Face” competition is open to a wide range of artistic genres, making the exhibition eclectic, with works ranging from Grand Prize-winner Mika Endo’s wood-block prints and Mio Nakahara’s mixed media pieces to Yukako Izawa’s watercolors and Nozomi Tojinbara’s oils.
Visitors are also invited to participate in the audience award by voting for their favorite artist.
