Chie Matsui's silk-screen installations, which have been made to reflect Gallery Nomart's history as a printing company, were created exclusively for this exhibition in a collaboration with the Nomart Editions publishing team.
The main theme, "Tongari Yama," translates as "Pointy Mountain" and refers to the backdrop to Matsui's narrative, which involves various cute and romantic characters. Screenings of Matsui's past video works, along with objects used during filming will also be on display; Dec. 20-Jan. 24.
