This summer, the world was swept up in a wave of enthusiasm over the FIFA World Cup. Japan played Cameroon in the first round and scored a victory, but fans here were quick to acknowledge Cameroon’s sharp attacks and fighting spirit. Fortunately, that spirit isn’t limited to soccer.

This fall, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the independence and reunification of the African country, the National Ballet of Cameroon will present an energetic and spirited performance in 14 cities throughout Japan from Sept. 11-30.
