This year's Kobe Global Charity Festival promises a day of fun and international cultural exchange.

The festival aims to expose people to other cultures via food stalls, games, shopping tables, exhibitions and information booths. The first festival was held in 1999 and has since been organized by Japanese and non-Japanese volunteers who want to help children around the world. Their mission is to raise funding to donate to nonprofit organizations such as Amnesty International Japan, Peace on Earth and Asian Women's Empowerment. Thirteen organizations will take part in the festival in order to help provide education and care for children in developing countries. The festival will be held in tandem with the Kansai Highland Games, which are held all over the world to celebrate Scottish culture and heritage. A range of activities, from athletic games to bagpipe performances to Scottish Highland dancing and even a little whiskey tasting, the event promises to be a good day out for the whole family.

On top of that, every participant can makes a difference in a child's life.
