This third installment of the "Underworld" franchise is a prequel, telling how the feud between werewolves and vampires began. Michael Sheen ("Frost/Nixon") displays his muscular body as the leader of the werewolves, who have been enslaved by the vampires, led by Bill Nighy ("Valkyrie"). After many a long year of oppression, the werewolves rebel against their pale masters and what we get is tons of action, plenty of gore and fang after fang. There is no need to see the previous films to follow the simple plot.
