Seiji Uebayashi's eighth-inning home run lifted the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks to a 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Tokyo Yakult Swallows on Tuesday.

Two days after the Swallows clinched this season's best interleague record for the first time, the Central League ballclub closed its final game with a loss at Jingu Stadium.

Uebayashi went 2-for-4 in front of a crowd of 17,937. With two outs in the eighth, he blasted a two-run homer off right-hander Kazuki Kondo (1-3) to put the visitors ahead for good.
