Chunichi Dragons rookie Raidel Martinez earned his first NPB win after early homers and late runs solidified a 10-4 victory against the Hiroshima Carp on Tuesday.

Martinez (1-1) retired the first 11 of 13 Carp batters before the right-hander gave up four runs at Nagoya Dome, while Hiroshima righty Yuta Nakamura (3-1) yielded three homers and suffered his first loss of the season.

Nakamura gave up a two-run home run to his second batter, Yota Kyoda, before former major leaguer Zoilo Almonte cranked a two-run shot of his own in the third. Nobumasa Fukuda belted a solo homer one batter later to make it 5-0.
