The Peninsula Tokyo's signature restaurant Peter will collaborate with four award-winning Japanese artisan chefs during a limited edition culinary series from August to November.
Each artisan chef will be at Peter for one weekend only, partnering with chef de cuisine Masateru Kiriyama to create lunch and dinner menus that feature specially sourced local ingredients — ranging from kaiseki traditional multicourse cuisine to French-Japan fusion cuisine. Kiriyama and the four guest chefs will each prepare a menu of seven courses, to be presented over two days each month between August and November, respectively. Dishes will be served for the ultimate dining experience at The Seven Seas Aviation Lounge, an exclusive lounge showcasing 100 years of Japan's aviation history, complete with one large table for communal seating, a sofa lounge, private restrooms and access to an outside balcony.
